ASU Data Science graduate student combining machine learning, statistical analysis, and 5+ years of infrastructure experience to build real-world data solutions.
I'm a Data Science student at Arizona State University (BS expected May 2026) with a background that blends serious engineering discipline with applied machine learning.
Before pivoting to data science, I spent four years as a Nuclear Instructor in the U.S. Navy — certifying 250+ students on the S8G Nuclear Prototype. That experience gave me something a lot of data scientists lack: the ability to communicate complex systems clearly and work under genuine pressure.
I'm focused on end-to-end ML work — from raw data wrangling and feature engineering through model deployment — with an eye toward practical, business-driven outcomes. Currently exploring NLP and computer vision alongside my coursework.
Based in Mesa, AZ. Open to data science and ML engineering roles.
